Throughout the forthcoming season Bala Sailing Club and all it's members will be celebrating the club's 50th anniversary in a whole variety of ways.

Obviously there will be a very busy sailing calendar with an endless stream of club racing, opens and regattas - like every year, that's a given. However, the club will also be holding a special anniversary regatta over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend. To mark the occasion, we have arranged a special social evening on the Saturday night, with live music provided by Dangerous Age. This band comes highly recommended, and is guaranteed to cater for a wide variety of musical tastes!

To help the evening go with a bang, we have also purchased 300 bottles of wine (red, white and rosé) in specially commissioned celebration bottles carrying the official club logo. This will enable members to take home a keepsake of the evening if they so wish and any empty bottles left at the club will be used as candleholders for future club dinners and social events.
