The Organising Authority is Bala Sailing Club.
2. Rules
Racing will be governed by the ISAF RRS, the relevant Class Rules and the Bala Sailing Club, Sailing Instructions 2008.
2.1 Racing Charter
Competitors should note that Bala Sailing Club implements the RYA Racing Charter and that they will be required to undertake to sail in compliance with the Charter, which can be found at the front of the RYA rule book (Racing Rules of Sailing 2005 - 2008).
2.2 Liability Limit
The safety of a boat and her entire management including insurance shall be the sole responsibility of the owner/person in charge who must ensure that the boat and crew are adequate to face the conditions that may arise in the course of the race. The race organisers shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, death or personal injury however caused to the owner/person in charge or crew, as a result of their taking part in the race or races. Moreover, every owner/person in charge, warrants the suitability of the boat for the race or races. This condition does not override any statutory rights.
3. Condition of Entry
This one day event open to all Windsurfers who are Seavets.
There will be one classs start.
Racing is scheduled for Saturday and free sailing on Sunday. If the weather condditions prevent racing on Saturday, the racing
will be held on the Sunday.
4. Rights to Use Names & Likenesses
Competitors automatically grant to Bala Sailing Club without payment the right in perpetuity to make, use and show any motion pictures, still pictures and live, taped or filmed television of or relating to the event.
5. Programme - 4 Race Event
Saturday - Registration from 9:30hrs - Briefing at 10:00hrs
1st Race Start at 13:00hrs - 4 races
Sunday
Free Sailing provided the racing was held on Saturday.
Prize Giving - 1 hour after completion of last race in the Club House
